Sean “Diddy” Combs has returned to prison after he was taken from the facility for a medical emergency. Combs, who is serving his 50-month sentence at a New Jersey facility, was treated for a head injury at a nearby hospital on Saturday and returned to the prison later that day, Variety reported. A spokesperson for Combs said his team is still looking for details on what happened to the 56-year-old artist.

“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” the spokesperson told Variety. “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

What did NBC News report about Sean Combs’ lifestyle in prison?

Combs is serving time at Fort Dix in New Jersey for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, per USA TODAY. He was placed in solitary confinement in July after getting into a fight with another inmate. In the past week, the disgraced music mogul was named in an NBC News report, which stated that he is paying other inmates to do his cooking and cleaning. The report also stated that Combs is using contraband electronics and indulging in other luxuries. One clip obtained by NBC News appeared to show Combs using a contraband phone.

“This is not some normal s**t you see in jail. This is some rich s**t,” one inmate told NBC News. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

Multiple sources also told NBC News that Combs scrolls social media on a contraband phone and looks at nude and sexually explicit photos that an ex-girlfriend sends him. Combs’ reps, however, are defending the singer from the allegations.

“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” a spokesperson told NBC News. “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”

When is Sean Combs scheduled to be released?

Combs, who still faces more than 70 civil lawsuits, is scheduled to be released on March 2, 2028. He was previously scheduled to be released on Jan. 21, 2028.
